Our World-Class Award Winning group has an opening for a Service Electronics Repair Technician to join our team in Elkhart, IN . The talented individual will have experience in Electrical/Electronics repair, Passion for new technologies, a strong Team Player and delivers exceptional client-service. This position is responsible to provide on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and refurbishment of inverters and inverter/chargers
Job Function: Installation, Maintenance and Repair Service
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Perform failure analysis, repair and refurbishment of products which includes printed circuit boards with thru-hole and surface mount components.
Perform all testing of units and PCBAs using established procedures and fixtures.
Prepares detailed reports of service work performed and ensures this data is captured in service reporting systems(s).
Communicates with other departments on new products and improvements.
Participates in technical training (formal and informal) to maintain current knowledge of products and service procedures.
Troubleshoots and repairs test fixtures when necessary.
Performs technical training on troubleshooting and repair of Schneider Electric equipment to Authorized Service Centers both on and off site.
Performs other tasks as required
QUALIFICATION:
Associate's degree (technical diploma) in Electronics, Electrical or equivalent experience
Requires experience in troubleshooting digital and/or analog circuits
Minimum 2 years experience in technical job roll
Excellent rework, soldering and de-soldering skills
Demonstrate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills as well as knowledge of analog and digital circuits. Must be able to read schematics and use electronics measurement and testing equipment
Ability to read and understand technical documents written in English
Proven Interpersonal, communication and computer skills
Strong organization skills through demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time with good attention to detail
Demonstrated safety, quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement characteristics
Results-orientation and proven ability to deliver on commitments with minimal supervision
Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
