Job Description for Position of:
Human Resource
Reports to:
VP & President
General Purpose of Job:
To ensure that production is fully staffed with quality employees and provide human resource support to production and management personnel at all levels through the utilization of the HR Managers knowledge and expertise.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Recruiting of employees at line and management level.
Oversee the weekly payroll process.
Oversee Unemployment Claims.
Oversee Workers' Compensation Claims Process.
Administer Health Insurance, 401(k) and other benefit programs as applicable.
Respond to all personnel issues.
Monitor the legislative environment to ensure that Flexco remains in compliance with all employment-related laws.
Develop and implement personnel policies as required.
Handle all employment verifications.
Maintain position on company safety committee to offer guidance & direction with workers' compensation insurance & related issues
Supervision Required:
Receive very general guidance with respect to overall objectives working independently of others within division or department policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving the assigned objectives.
Other Duties and
Responsibilities:
Special projects as required.
Comply with all policies, practices and responsibilities.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, and professional journals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Computer Operations:
Advanced computer skills.
Planning/Organization:
Prioritize tasks.
Handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Prioritize, organize and delegate assignments where applicable.
Work Schedule/Hours:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Not limited to 40 hours per week. May require working outside this minimum expected schedule.

Daily postings and management for any new or pending positions using available resources such as internet, internal job postings, college/school notifications, etc.
Aggressively research and utilize all staffing resources and avenues keeping company needs and budget in mind.
Screening of resumes, applications, and all other communication in regards to potential employment.
Consistently interview potential employees with regards to current and projected company needs.
Maintain files with job specific files for current and future use in job placement.
Maintain constant communication with Director of Operations and President in regards to potential applicants, pay, job status, etc.
Conduct new hire orientations, advising of company policies and procedures as necessary.
Maintaining and updating job knowledge by touring plants, talking to management and employees while acquiring general knowledge of machinery and processes to better fill and accommodate staffing needs.
