The position is located at the company's corporate office in Elkhart, IN and reports to the company's Vice President of Human Resources.
The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, organization development, training, employee and labor relations, compensation management, personnel records, benefits administration, and special projects.
The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be a key partner to management throughout the company in helping navigate through difficult human resources related issues. The Senior HR Generalist will assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies, procedures and programs, and will prepare reports and correspondence in conformance with legislative requirements and organizational needs. The Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for corporate hiring, as well as leading the company's training initiatives, including the development and delivery of training programs.
The position requires some overtime and occasional travel; generally less than 5% overnight travel is required.
The position requires strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective professional relationships with employees at all levels in the organization. The successful candidate must be highly professional, confidential, and able to set and manage priorities. An engaging personality and the demonstration of professional credibility are necessary for the successful fulfillment of responsibilities, including the successful delivery of training programs. Excellent communication, presentation, writing and analytical skills are required for job success.
Considerable knowledge of adult learning principles and human resources administration is necessary for effective job performance. Position requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline and at least seven (7) years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing company; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR) is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
