This position is responsible for a small electronics manufacturing facility that is expected to triple in size in the next year due to relocation of product lines.
The plant produces small volumes of 15 different product lines.
Due to the growth of the company, the position offers solid growth potential for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities include
Recommending and making improvements in products, manufacturing processes or methods, and all other aspect of operations.
Responsible for producing components and/or finished products that meet or exceed minimum established quality standards. Creates and maintains required quality control systems as necessary.
Responsible for establishing production schedules and deadlines, consistent with order activity.
Responsible for operating plant free from work-related injuries and illnesses, and for promoting safety consciousness and practices throughout the plant population.
Prepares and submits for approval annual operating budgets for the plant. Responsible for achieving production results within approved budgets and production efficiency limits.
Responsible for maintenance of, and improvements, to the facility and equipment.
Responsible for staffing, training, and general supervision of the plant workforce.
Responsible for maintaining good morale with the workforce, and for identifying and resolving employee relation problems that may arise.
Responsible for representing the plant and the company in the local community.
Responsible for identifying manufacturing cost reduction opportunities and implementing these changes.
Provides timely and quality services and support to all internal and external customers. Independently seeks and identifies problems and constraints blocking progress toward these objectives. Consistently develops creative and effective solutions to those opportunities.
MUST HAVES:
BS in engineering

years in manufacturing
Plant supervision experience
NICE TO HAVE:
MBA
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
