This includes diagnostics and repair of machinery from Fletcher, Weinig, Ultimizers and Giardina.
RESPONSIBILITIES Manages safe day to day repair and maintenance activities.
Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy maintenance environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, immediately addressing issues, and alerting others regarding potential concerns.
Work with supervisors to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner and with minimal disturbance to production output.
Oversee safety and environmental compliance throughout facility and grounds.
Ensures all maintenance tools and equipment are always in good working order.
Schedules, tracks, and records all preventative and scheduled maintenance events provides support and training for maintenance technicians.
Oversee that facility and grounds are kept in condition consistent with plant management standards.
Always maintains an organized and safe work environment.
Serves as a site Emergency Coordinator and has the authority to initiate the response activities as described in the Emergency Contingency Plan Assists in the development of current employees as well as the recruiting of new talent.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5 years Maintenance Management experience in preventative maintenance systems Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental regulation affecting the plant operation and maintenance.
Strong supervisory skills for delegating repair and project responsibilities, monitoring and evaluating work performance and maintaining an effective, trained work staff.
Ability to prepare materials estimated from job specifications, work orders and blueprints.
Ability to assist/train maintenance staff in correct maintenance procedures.
Ability to lift 50lbs without restriction.
Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools, operate a forklift.
