As a Financial Analyst, you will work in a dynamic environment, often focused on multiple projects simultaneously across various functional groups.
You will ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements, disclosures, and all external reporting while collaborating with different Teams.
Patrick Industries is a leading manufacturer and distributor of components products and building materials serving different industries throughout the United States including RV, Manufactured Housing, Industrial and Marine segments.
With locations in 23 states, Patrick is a Company with a strong network of meaningful relationships with our brands and customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Initial preparation of financial statements and footnotes Assist with the quarterly 10Q and annual 10K Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures Preparation of the key financial statements including monthly cash flow Review various internal and external presentations including board materials and investor presentations Assist in the research of GAAP and SEC guidance Analysis of internal data that may include labor, inventory, etc.
Assist in technical accounting work Partner across different functional groups within Finance and Accounting with regard to various reporting requirements Research and analyze data trends Develop process and controls related to the company's financial reporting process Ad hoc reporting Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 2 years of working experience within a large public accounting firm, or in a similar role at an SEC registrant Experience with financial statements Knowledge or working experience with GAAP Accounting Understanding of SEC A growing understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting principles and regulations Project management skills with experience taking initiative and owning outcomes, and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred CPA license, or working toward the completion of, is preferred.
