You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.
As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent.
You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.
Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.
Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operation of the quality techs to improve work flow, methods and procedures.
Delegate tasks and set deadlines to the Quality Techs Discover and help provide training needs Works with management in the resolution and documentation of quality related issues Coordinates quality assurance activities (e.
g.
, audits, training) Ensure that teams are following documented processes Ensure data is accurately collected and documented Other related duties may be assigned, as requested and required Requirements and skills Must have supervisory knowledge in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an RV and automotive industry.
Must display leadership ability, able to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions.
Must have working knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes.
Must have knowledge of quality systems processes (Corrective and Preventive Actions, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, Auditing).
Ability to read blueprints is a requirement.
Must have strong analytical skills.
Must have solid problem solving skills using a variety of statistical and root cause tools.
Positive attitude to support company policies.
Must be able to adapt to change in the workplace and demonstrate flexibility with new ideas.
Must be able to train others.
Must be accurate.
Must demonstrate initiative.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures and policies.
