The Supply Chain Analyst works to support the global supply chain of multiple product lines specific to a Group of Business Units to help increase efficiencies and decrease costs.
In this role, the Analyst will provide support, guidance and strategic direction to Customers within the organization! Patrick Industries is a leading manufacturer and distributor of component products and building materials serving various industries throughout the United States including RV, Marine, and Housing.
With locations in 23 states, Patrick upholds a strong network of meaningful relationships with our brands and customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Reporting to the Director of Transportation, the Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with Business Units throughout the Organization, acting as a partner to do analytical work as it pertains to transportation to provide accurate and timely data to help Leaders make informed decisions.
Create and maintain dashboards showing high level information to Leadership Design and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data Monitor the distribution channel from the purchase of materials from vendor to the delivery to multiple Patrick Industries locations Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, and/or delivery processes Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects Assist in promoting a positive image and inter-business relationships with business partners and vendors Assist with the development, implementation and keeping current standard operating procedures and work instructions to support global trade compliance Work with Finance Teams to ensure vendor invoices related to the Business Units you support are received and paid in a timely manner Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field is highly desired Candidates should have 1
year of experience in supply chain or logistics Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.
g.
purchasing and inventory management, warehousing and transportation) Proficiency in computer databases, statistics applications and logistics programs with the ability to do analysis is desired Experience in Power-BI is highly desired Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude Outstanding written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization and beyond Driven and creative self-starter with passion to go above and beyond expectations Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills, with an affinity towards servicing customers and providing solutions A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities Self-motivated to work independently in a busy environment with changing priorities and the ability to adapt quickly Solid project management skills Align with Patrick Industries BETTER Together mentality by pursuing Balance, Excellence, Trust, Teamwork, Empowerment, and Respect within the organization Benefits Include:
