Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team, responsible for efficiently coordinating and dispatching independent contractor drivers.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Communication:
Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers to provide real-time updates, address inquiries, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
Problem Resolution:
Identify and address any operational issues or challenges that may arise during transportation, working proactively to find solutions and minimize disruptions.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including route information, driver communication, and any incidents or delays.
Compliance:
Ensure that all dispatch activities adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies, collaborating with the compliance team as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in dispatching or logistics would be preferred, with a focus on coordinating independent contractor drivers.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with drivers and internal teams.
Strong organizational abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
