1 Elkhart, IN Elkhart, IN Full-time Full-time $18 - $22 an hour $18 - $22 an hour Purpose Work with costing, purchasing, sales and accounting with the goal of producing quotations in an accurate and timely manner.
Candidate should possess excellent analytical and computer skills along with the ability to maintain a schedule and communicate needs to other departments.
Reports to:
Costing Manager and VP of Finance Responsibilities and Duties:
Validate quote requests from sales.
Ensure all information is correct and viable.
Manage, print, and copy prints for estimating purposes.
Maintain a schedule to ensure quotes are completed on time.
Confirm and identify part numbers on parts to be quoted.
Maintain and update estimating files as needed.
Identify and list all material needed for quoting.
Request material cost from purchasing.
Enter all part numbers and descriptions into NAV.
Read blueprints.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
Excellent typing skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and complex Excel spreadsheets.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work on numerous tasks simultaneously.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Analytical background.
Accounting background.
Qualifications:
High school diploma.
Strong computer skills, knowledge of NAV is a plus.
Proficient with mathematics and mathematical concepts.
Detail oriented.
Mechanically inclined.
Quoting experience.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm Job Type:
