1K a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Our Outpatient Surgery Center is currently seeking a highly energetic and dependable Perioperative Nurse Manager to join our team of medical professionals! The ideal candidate will have experience in the perioperative care of surgical patients and be responsible and accountable for the organization and supervision of the OR, Pre-Op and Post-Op departments.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with a team of doctors and nurses, while also playing a major role in the day-to-day and overall operations of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of the OR, Pre-Op and PACU departments.
Coordination of staffing and patient care activities.
Communicate with doctors and surgeons.
Administer medications and treatments.
Communicate with patients, patients' families, and co-workers.
Requirements:
Degree in Nursing.
Current Indiana Nursing licensure.
Current ACLS/BLS/PALS certification Required.
Must possess outstanding customer service and problem solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently at times.
Flexibility in schedule, when needed.
