The ideal candidate will have experience in the perioperative care of surgical patients and be responsible and accountable for the organization and supervision of the OR, Pre-Op and Post-Op departments.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with a team of doctors and nurses, while also playing a major role in the day-to-day and overall operations of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of the OR, Pre-Op and PACU departments.
Coordination of staffing and patient care activities.
Communicate with doctors and surgeons.
Administer medications and treatments.
Communicate with patients, patients' families, and co-workers.
Requirements:
Degree in Nursing.
Current Indiana Nursing licensure.
Current ACLS/BLS/PALS certification Required.
Must possess outstanding customer service and problem solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently at times.
Flexibility in schedule, when needed.
