We are looking for friendly, professional, self motivated candidates looking to grow within the hospitality industry.
We are looking for a part-time night auditor who can work the 11 pm to 7 am shift, 16hrs per week.
If looking for more shifts, shifts can be picked up as well from our day shift and evening shift as well ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Check guests in and out of the hotel, make reservations and keep front office in order.
2.
Treat all walk ins, phone calls, conversations and reservations as an opportunity to get a lead and probe for cross-sell business.
3.
Review in-house guest list daily for potential leads.
4.
Administer hotel guest payment policies.
5.
Handle hotel phone system and transfer calls.
Take messages for guests, as well as hotel staff, when necessary.
6.
Take, modify and cancel guest reservations, noting any special requests.
7.
Assist in the verification, balancing and revenue maximization of hotel's suite availability.
8.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests.
9.
Communicate Holiday Inn Express facilities, amenities and services to guests at check-in.
10.
Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities.
11.
Responsible for shift cash transactions.
12.
Responsible for maintaining hotel key security system.
13.
Administer guest safe deposit boxes.
14.
Know hotel emergency procedures.
15.
Inform Housekeeping of vacant dirty rooms, as guests' checkout.
16.
Update room status as Housekeeping notifies the desk of changes.
17.
Read and communicate through the Logbook daily.
18.
Distribute mail to guest boxes or room and to Holiday Inn Express staff.
19.
Track status of rooms used for tours and status of rooms in Maintenance.
20.
Notify Housekeeping and Maintenance of any reported problems with rooms or grounds.
21.
Maintain a professional attitude and professional attire.
