DUTIES:
Responsible to grow, lead, manage, and provide technical direction for rubber mixing operations for multiple plants while maintaining the highest customer product and quality standards.
Provide leadership for mixing plant operations (including shift supervisors, maintenance associates, production control, engineering, and quality control laboratory).
Coordinates with: Material Development Engineers, Suppliers, Customers, Lab Personnel, Business Unit Managers, Engineering Managers, and Shift Supervisors.
Establishes and maintains premier customer service at all times; develops positive customer relationships through routine visits and consistent communication.
Maintains high levels of quality and on-time delivery and promptly responding to customer requests.
Leads mixing strategy and continuous improvement projects of various scale; flow of raw material to final mixed rubber, quality of mixed rubber, optimizing rubber mix cycles for quality and time, capital improvements.
Responsible for safety, operation, and maintenance of rubber processing equipment: Internal rubber mixer, mill, batch off equipment, weigh up equipment, rubber testing equipment, air handling, and control systems.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and contamination free work environment for associates as well as to drive high quality standards.
Maintain quality standards to TS16949 and all EH&S requirements.
MUSTS:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Polymer or Chemical Engineering. Advanced degree a plus.
7-10 years of technical experience in the development of rubber materials-compounding, mixing and blending.
Experienced with the rubber mixing process including equipment and various rubber materials.
Experience interacting in a plant manufacturing environment.
Superior experience with direct customer contact and customer service.
Experience with improvement and problem solving tools such as A3, root cause. Six Sigma, and Lean are a plus.
Effective inter-personal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and Project Management experience with the ability to manage teams, projects and schedules.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
