Our client, located in Elkhart, is looking for an HR Administrator/Executive Assistant. This person needs to have an HR background, including applicant tracking systems, strong administratively, and have strong computer skills, especially Excel.
Essential HR Functions
Staffing - ensures the recruitment and staffing of hourly and non-exempt level positions.
Establishes and maintains communication and relationships with area businesses, colleges, schools, agencies, and professional organizations for the purpose of recruiting qualified candidates for skilled labor vacancies.
Training - ensures adequate training in the areas of new employee orientations, safety training, etc.
Assists in the development and delivery of training by working with the Training Coordinator and other departments to identify special training needs.
Administers hourly benefits program.
Employee Relations - Administers coaching, counseling, and discipline with hourly employees.
Labor Relation - maintains a positive and effective relationship with the union in an effort to accomplish business goals.
Establishes and adheres to plant - wide human resources policies as appropriate.
Participates in safety initiatives as appropriate.
Attends necessary and/or attends required workshops and seminars to stay current with the latest developments in the human resources field.
Schedules, plans, and/or attends required departmental and/or plant meetings.
Complies with all established state and federal laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Prepares necessary reports as requested and/or required in a timely manner.

Essential Executive Assistant Functions
Completes projects and special assignments by: establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; and making adjustments to plans.
Maintains internal confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential (including highly sensitive Human Resources information).
Develops professional and high-impact presentations/reports/materials/charts/graphs
Manages many activities of the Division Headquarters: welcoming key customers, suppliers, and visitors; reviewing correspondence; arranging company dinners and other corporate functions; and answering questions and responding to meeting requests.
Arranges travel, meetings and calendars by: developing itineraries and agendas; booking transportation; and arranging lodging and meeting accommodations.
Conserves executives' time managing day-to-day correspondence by: drafting letters and documents; preparing expense reports; collecting and analyzing information.
Represents executives by: communicating and obtaining information; following up on delegated assignments; and knowing when to act and when to refer matters to leaders
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor degree (or higher) required in area of discipline.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
