A/P Clerk

Our client, located in Elkhart, is looking for an A/P Clerk. This is a contract-to-hire position. This person will be responsible for processing all A/P invoices for multiple locations and also processing checks for vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
Printing emailed invoices and opening mailed invoices when necessary
Assuring proper approvals are obtained for non-PO invoices
Assuring accuracy of GL coding on non-PO invoices
Data Entry of all A/P invoices
Processing check runs for vendor payments
Filing invoices
Fielding vendor calls and emails when problems/questions arise
Research problems regarding receipt/ricing issues
Requirements:
Above average computer and data entry skills
Ability to work independently
Must have strong communications and problem solving skills
Other Skills:
Prior A/P experience is required
Prior ERP experience preferred


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
