Facilities Maintenance Worker
GENERAL
Responsibilities:
1 Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding a wide variety of machines, tools, and special purpose equipment as necessary.
2 Responsible for assisting with all building and ground maintenance.
3 Develop and plan daily schedule as well as developing all preventative maintenance programs.
4 Responsible for the safety of others within the facility as well as daily janitorial functions.
5 May be responsible for maintenance groups of employee during group maintenance projects.
6 Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards.
7 May be called upon to perform other production duties as determined by the Company.
PRE-DETERMINED
Qualifications:
1 Must have experience and knowledge in a minimum of two trades: electrical, welding, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or water controlled equipment
2 Must be certified to operate a forklift
3 Must be able to operate all motorized equipment
4 Must be able to interpret, read, and follow verbal and written instructions without assistance.
5 Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1 Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
2 Frequent bending/stooping, squatting/crouching is required
3 Walking and standing; frequent reaching, grabbing, pushing, pulling
4 Manual dexterity
This position does require clear drug screen and background check. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
